A graduate of both Juilliard and Eastman,Todor Pelev has won the Silver Medal of the  Wieniawski International Competition  in Lublin, Poland and won the American Contemporary Record Society Competition, among others; he has played as a soloist with the National Symphony at Kennedy Center, and performed with the Baltimore Symphony at Carnegie Hall.

Todor has presented solo recitals in more than 20 countries, and has been featured on multiple TV and Radio broadcasts. He has served on the faculties of the University of Redlands, California Institute of the Arts, Cal Baptist University, and is currently faculty member at Pomona College, Claremont Graduate University and  Idyllwild Arts Academy. Todor Pelev is the concertmaster of the San Bernardino Symphony, Redlands Bowl Festival Orchestra, and principal violin for The Pageant of the Masters Orchestra.
